Two months ago Ohio born and raised Miss Adrienne Reau (aka @ageorama) booked a one-way ticket to New York and never looked back. As a fashion influencer, content creator, and professional dancer, NYC was the place to be. “I had nothing to lose,” said Adrienne, “and it was time to start a new chapter somewhere where I could foster my creativity and chase my dreams.” For Adrienne the intersection of fashion and social media all began at age 12 with a few keyboard clicks and a YouTube channel under Adrienne’s name. “I posted fashion hauls, lululemon collections, and the works. But when I tell you I had no views I mean no views. I didn’t tell anyone about my channel and I was so afraid of my friends finding out. It wasn’t until quarantine last year when my boyfriend came home with a tripod that it was a lights, camera, action. I don’t give a fuck anymore. I post what I post, I wear what I wear, and I just do everything authentically myself. I have come full circle”.

Lucky for all us style icons in training, Adrienne gave Sheesh Magazine the inside scoop on what it’s like to get ready with her. Read below where she reveals all the Pinterest board baddie secrets behind this unforgettable purple and orange look!

Where were you off to the day you wore this?

AGEORAMA: On this day I was heading to a casual lunch with a friend in Brooklyn. She is in the same field of influencing and fashion so we both dress up and make everyday affairs an event.

What’s the first step in your GRWM process?

AGEORAMA: To start I always pick a statement piece. In this case, it was the kitten heels with socks underneath. I tend to stick to the 3,2,1 rule when I style an outfit. 3 things that match (the shoes), another 2 things that match (the purple), and the cherry on top is the 1 thing that doesn’t match; the orange pants. 3,2,1 keeps the outfit looking put together but still funky and not too matchy.

Can you walk us through the fit details?

AGEORAMA: I’ll start with accessories. The chunky lilac glasses are from Nasty Gal, the necklaces are Vivienne Westwood and Etsy, and the earrings are Draco Jewellery. The star of the show is the Depop shoes and zebra Princess Polly socks. Then the basic brown bodysuit is from Glasson, the purple throw over is from Revolve, and orange pants are The Volt”.

Where do you find inspo for your looks?

AGEORAMA: I spend hours on Instagram and Pinterest, saving, pinning, and screenshotting looks and ideas. The basis of my inspiration is the  90’s: Carrie Bradshaw, supermodel runway looks, old magazines, and Britney. It’s all so effortless and chic; right up my alley.

Tell us about the hair for this look?

AGEORAMA: This is my secret to a good lazy hair day. Slick back the base with water and toss in my $7 eBay spiky hairpiece. Always does the trick.

What inspired your makeup look?

AGEORAMA: I keep it minimal with the makeup. A tinted moisturizer, bold brow, natural lip, blush, and a ton of freckles. Top it off with my ride or die Laura Mercier translucent setting powder and you’re good to go. My best-kept makeup secret is the Rimmel London stay matte liquid lip. $3 for the best natural wash of color a girl could ask for. Sadly, I don’t think they are still making this shade, but I’m sure with a little internet research you could get your hands on it.

Finishing touches?

AGEORAMA: Stacks and stacks of jewelry. I just got 6 new piercings, I’m obsessed. I pack on the rings, throw on my shades, stuff my essentials in a bag and I’m good to go. Accessories can make or break the outfit, so don’t slip up when it comes to the finishing touches.

Any last words of wisdom?

AGEORAMA: For the longest time, I got sucked into the rabbit hole of the next best thing or the latest trend. My advice? Don’t conform. Step out! Don’t lose yourself to the hot ticket item everyone’s wearing. Remember who and what you’re dressing for. Go thrifting, buy the ugliest thing you see and style it. Attack the challenge and you just might surprise yourself. Since moving to NYC I’ve had a lot of trial and error, but my style has developed tremendously and it has been worth every single moment.
