Monday
CHLOE FELOPULOS: Starting with the hat, it’s just a newspaper hat that I wore backwards simply because I think it looks a lot better. It really reminds me of Justin Timberlake in the 2000s, I always think of that when I wear it. I thought it would be funny to pair with my Penny Lane jacket, and a floral long sleeve because it was a nice juxtaposition. I also feel like collared shirts just look good with everything, you can never go wrong! I was going to a meeting this day so I wanted to look nice and trendy. But I also wanted to be comfortable so I wore a long skirt that I wouldn’t have to worry about adjusting or anything. Lastly, I just threw my cowgirl boots on, which I pair with absolutely everything!
Tuesday
CHLOE FELOPULOS: I got the top, skirt, and boots all on the same day from the garment district in Boston and I knew I had to wear them all together. Then I went with a granny bra underneath because I just felt like it needed something different instead of just a ribbed tank. I really love the way lingerie from different decades is making a comeback and it’s so fun to wear out. That’s like my go to at the thrift store, always go to the lingerie section!
What do you want your style to say about you?
CHLOE FELOPULOS: I just want my style to be very myself, I want people to see it and think “Omg that’s so Chloe.” I love color and wearing colorful outfits, things that just exude confidence and happiness. Anything that makes me feel unapologetically myself.
Wednesday
CHLOE FELOPULOS: I’m really into ties right now, I think it’s so badass when women wear them. It’s a whole new accessory that I didn’t even know I could wear and now they’ve just been so fun to play with. The colors on the tie were hard for me to style so I just went with a monochrome look to make it standout. The bag is a vintage bag that I got from a street vendor and is my complete obsession.
Thursday
CHLOE FELOPULOS: This was a look that I was not sure if I was in love with or not but I was sent this dress by a brand. I didn’t want to just wear the dress as is so I went on Pinterest and found some inspo photos. I saw a photo with a tank top and a corset over a dress, and pants under and another photo with a big slouchy belt. So I just put the dress on, pulled out all of those pieces and went from there. I just mixed and matched until it all worked, I think it came together really well in the end.
Who are some of your biggest style inspirations?
CHLOE FELOPULOS: Bella Hadid is my number one always, I really admire that she has her own fashion sense. It’s sometimes hard to tell with celebrities if it’s all their stylist or if it’s them, but you can really tell Bella has her own style. Next would be Jesse Jo Stark, she just exudes cool girl energy. Her whole family and Chrome Hearts is so badass, she’s so rock and roll it’s amazing. Last, would have to be Alana O’Herlihy. She’s a photographer I’d die to work with. She’s very unapologetically herself and you can really see it in her style which is something that I really admire.
Friday
CHLOE FELOPULOS: I have been watching Sex and the City recently, and Carrie was wearing a pinstripe vest and pants so that is totally where my inspiration is from. It was such a matchy moment and I just loved it, so I started with the pants and vest and went from there. I knew I wanted to wear something under it so I just tried on every mesh long sleeve I had until something worked. Then my Unif boots again because I love them, and some sunnies and a jacket! I love adding attachments to my glasses because it makes glasses so much easier to wear, and I think the pearls were a really fun touch!
Saturday
CHLOE FELOPULOS: I really love these silky vintage looking slip dresses, they are always really fun to style especially this one because it’s sheer. I threw on pearls to go with the dainty vintage vibe but also added some Unif boots to make the look a little more edgy—I love mixing styles like that. In the summer I would honestly just wear a bra underneath it, but because it’s cold in New York I put on a patterned top that my boyfriend gave me. Then added tights, a jacket, and a hat and this chaotic look just came together. I was cold but it was totally worth it.
Favorite article of clothing or accessory you own?
CHLOE FELOPULOS: I think it’s my green coat with a fur collar, it’s like a fur lined green cloak with big sleeves. It’s really stunning, I just showed it on my Youtube.
Sunday
CHLOE FELOPULOS: I bought this House of Sunny top on Depop which was such a blessing to find, and this jacket will forever be my obsession. It’s from Nasty Gal, which I’m an ambassador for and really love. I played up the brown tones and decided to wear this skirt and the sort of matching Juicy Couture bag. Colored tights and sunglasses are my favorite trends ever right now, it’s such a fun way to add color to my outfit so I put on my Party City tights to finish off the look!
Do you have a dream career and is it in the fashion community?
CHLOE FELOPULOS: It definitely is in the fashion community! I feel like I’ve never had a dream job with a specific title that I was able to explain but definitely something revolving around fashion. Throughout my experiences already working in styling and direction, I feel like editorial styling for a magazine would be amazing or creative direction. Even starting my own brand is something I would be really interested in.
