Podcasts are such a blessing to society for being both informative and entertaining! There are thousands to choose from so it might be overwhelming at first, but once you find the best ones for yourself they will be such a beneficial kickstarter to begin your day.
Sheesh Magazine created a list of top podcasts that cover a variety of topics from mental health, music and pop culture, to valuable lessons and comedic storytelling. Check out one or all of them to spark your podcast obsession.
1. All My Relations Podcast
All My Relations is a podcast series dedicated to discussing the key life lessons and values two Indigenous women, Matika Wilbur and Adrienne Keene, have to share. Their podcast is committed to “discussing our relationships as Native peoples—relationships to land, to ancestors, and to each other.” Altogether, this podcast is extremely informative and beneficial as they discuss topics like Native appropriations, culture, fashion, wellness and feminism all from within the Indigenous community.

Lexie Lombard is hustling through her many creative outlets, and just recently increased her hard work by solely launching her podcast, @lexie. Lexie needs no co-host because this girl is more than capable of creating entertaining, prime content that keeps her listeners hooked from start to finish. She self describes her podcast as the “diary of a Gen Z.” Join Lexie as she conversates over topics like mental health, funny stories, body positivity, finances and pandemic lifestyle changes.
3. We Bought A House
Claudia Sulewski and Finneas may just be the YouTube community’s favourite couple. Their love is pure, honest and raw, which makes for pure, honest and raw podcast content. When the pandemic began, these two sought out the perfect opportunity to launch their podcast, We Bought A House. Since March, this power couple has been going strong by consecutively dropping weekly episodes. Together they explore topics like their dating lifestyle, well-being tips, funny stories and even have an episode featuring the comedic legend, Chris Klemens.
4. Kerwin Frost Talks
Kerwin Frost’s talents expand everywhere from DJ, to comedian, to podcast host. Frost’s easy-going attitude brings to life naturally flowing conversations that result in prime listening content.
